Causes We Support

Pediatric Brain Foundation Ride For Kids

The Ride for KidsŪ is a motorcyclist's program that is helping find the cause and cure of pediatric brain tumors. It also serves as a educational support program for patients, their families, and the medical community.

September 21st, 2008 marks the date for this year's ride.

Meet us at Forever Endeavor Cycles at 7:30 am to ride to St. Charles Community College to participate in this police escorted ride. Or join us at the ride's starting point...registration starts at 8 am and closes at 9:45 am. The ride leaves at 10 am and goes through the countryside. It is really an awesome experience, riding with all these folks, having a great time and knowing that you are really helping others out as well. Last year, 2007, riders representing Dave Clark's Forever Endeavor Cycles raised $3735.00. This year we would love to surpass that achievement and get many more of our motrocyclist enthusuiasts involved. We hope to do this with the help and guidance of Lorrie and John Lehmann and Wayne Shirk all local St. Louis Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation Task Force members, also riders at and friends of Forever Endeavor Cycles.

Journey of Hope/ Push America

Nathan Whelan

Journey of Hope is a 4,000 mile bicycle ride across the United States that raises money and awareness for people with disabilities. (we thought asked providing Nathan with a Whizzer to "assist" him in his journey but he said thanks but he proably ought to pedal the whole way!)

Journey of Hope is one of Push America's national summer projects and one their main sources of fundraising. Push America is the national philanthropy of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and is dedicated to building the leaders of tomorrow by serving those with disabilities today. There is a nationwide need to not only help those with disabilities, but also to educate people on the abilities of people with disabilities. Nathan has dedicated himself to not only train for the strenuous ride that will take all summer, but to also raise at least $6,000 for Push America. This is his first endeavor after he graduates from Truman Sate University this May. Nathan is a previous classmate of Elizabeth's and when he asked for our support in such a benevolent task we wanted to assist him in anyway that we could. You can meet this fine young man when he attends the April shop ride or find out more about his goals here.
